Anglicare Australia’s “State of the Family” report 2012 has been released - a national study of food insecurity among Emergency Relief clients.
This report comes from a national study into food insecurity among people seeking Emergency Relief across Australia.
It took the combined effort of 14 Anglicare network members at 63 sites across the country to draw together 590 surveys of people - Anglicare clients accessing Emergency Relief centres - and compile these volumes.
The first volume explores the key findings of a national study into food insecurity among people seeking Emergency Relief and presents Anglicare network perspectives on what is to be done across Australia.
The second volume is the full research report of that study. It draws on the voices and experiences of people interviewed in March 2012 at 63 emergency relief services in every state and territory, and identifies causes of food insecurity and factors that influence its severity.
