Celtic Spirituality – Four Evenings in June 2014

You are invited to participate in study and reflection on Celtic spirituality. Each evening will comprise Celtic worship, a presentation, conversation, time to reflect and a soup supper. Sponsored by the St Oswald Centre for Spirituality. 

Sunday 1 June from 5pm to 8pm

An exploration of Early Christianity in Britain: the Desert Fathers and Mothers to Whitby, facts and myths

Sunday 8 June from 5pm to 8pm

Mission and evangelism:  Columba, Aiden and Cuthbert among others

Sunday 15 June from 5pm to 8pm

Enclosures and Holy Wells: Winifred, Beuno and Asaph

Sunday 22 June from 5pm to 8pm

Celtic Christianity – Pilgrimage then and now: High Crosses, Circles and Borders – Iona, R.S. Thomas, Jim Cotter
