Sunday 25 January 2015 - Let us rejoice

This Sunday we will celebrate The Conversion of St Paul as well as anticipating the eve of Australia Day on 26th....when we will have  parish BBQ to celebrate, as well as enjoy each others' company

Sunday Services are at
9 a.m.  Contemporary Mass (Annie will be directing the  music)
10.30 a.m. Traditional Eucharist probably with a procession

We remember also  that for many Australians, particularly those of indigenous origin,
Australia Day has different connotations. The Aboriginal peoples were totally disregarded as owners or inhabitants of this great land.

We acknowledge that we are meeting on the traditional country of the Kaurna people of the Adelaide Plains.
We recognise and respect their cultural heritage, beliefs and relationship with the land. We acknowledge that these are of continuing importance to the Kaurna people living today.
We also acknowledge that the modern City of Adelaide is a place to which all the indigenous people of South Australia look in this age (as do those of other ethnic origin) and we salute all the indigenous people of our great State.
