The world-famous Adelaide Christmas Pageant will take place this Saturday, 12 November 2016, from 9.30am.
The Pageant will start at the corner of King William Street and South Terrace in Adelaide. After passing through Victoria Square, the Pageant will proceed down Wakefield Street, Pulteney Street, Grenfell Street and back to King William Street before a right turn into North Terrace and down to the Magic Cave.
Father Christmas will arrive on North Terrace at about 11:30am.
If you can't make it to the Pageant, you can always watch on television or listen to an audio description (radio commentary with extra description) on Radio Adelaide on 101.5 FM from 9.30am.
In Adelaide, the Christmas Pageant marks the official start of the 'Christmas Season'. For religious traditionalists, of course, the calendar works a little differently...
